In March 2023, I received 2 bottles of EXPIRED (Dec 2022) Ghia Aperitif (liquid was brown, not ruby colored) and Nanobar has been ignoring my requests for a return, refund, or replacement. I do not recommend this company.
I love the experience of having a nice cocktail in a nice glass and chose to be a responsible drinker. A friend gave me two bottles of Ghia as a gift to try in lieu of alcohol. Was I surprised. I still enjoy alcoholic drinks but when I am having a Ghia I am having the same lovely experience.
With working from home I needed something to take the day from work to me time. Ghia is just the thing to do that! I pour it over ice in a fancy glass add some light tonic and turn on some music to sip my way from work to me time before the craziness of dinner and family kick in. It is my favorite part of the day!!
I am a huge fan of bitter cocktails like the Negroni or Boulevardier, and Ghia is the perfect non-alcoholic alternative. I love to drink it by itself on the rocks, but I'm sure it would be amazing mixed with seltzer too.
Love this stuff. If you're into campari and grapefruit this is your drink. More on the bitter and herbal side than sweet. The consistency is like bloodymary FYI. I make the sangria all the time (OJ, Ghia, Seltzer, Ice), and sometimes add vodka if it's a special treat. Worth every cent!
I Discovered Ghia on nanoba and I LOVE it and I find it stimulating. I love that it is its own drink not a "replica" of an alcoholic drink. I always choose the nanobarPLUS shipping option, it's affordable and I don't like to wait!
I was skeptical that Ghia could measure up in a cocktail setting, in the same was it feels weird to order a soda at a bar, but was unequivocally proven wrong. The bitter, floral notes supplant nicely where one would normally expect to taste alcohol, and it's not sweet to the point where you feel frivolous drinking it. I've gone through more than a few bottles while living in Napa, and readily choose it over an abundance of world-class wines (even though I'm not sober) when hanging out with friends, day or night. It's super refreshing, pairs nicely with a bunch of different mixers, and looks great on a bar cart, to boot.
I’ve tried to scale back my alcohol drinking. I don’t aspire towards sobriety, it’s more of just scaling it back where I can. To that end, finally there is a non-alcoholic drink that tastes like a cocktail and isn’t filled with garbage ingredients. For someone into my fitness having a low calorie, herbal solution to scratch the itch that I have. When I do want to drink some alcohol I’ve taken to using Ghia as a healthier, natural mixer. If it wasn’t obvious, I love it.
