Unspiked Spiked Hot Chocolate

Warm and cozy holiday treat with the burn of bourbon, but without the hangover.

  • 2 ½ oz The Spirit of Bourbon
  • 3 oz spiked hot chocolate*
  • Coconut whipped cream
  • Pumpkin spice mix 
  • Cayenne pepper

Method (for 1 drink):

  • Hot cocoa:
    • Add 2 oz cocoa/cacao powder and 1 cup of almond/coconut milk to saucepan
    • Heat until mixture has dissolved (this will make an intense hot chocolate drink)
    • Add an 1/8tsp/small pinch of cayenne pepper and 2 tsps of sugar to taste
    • Stir well until all ingredients are integrated
  • Add 2 ½ oz of bourbon to a mug and 3-4 oz oz of hot chocolate mix and stir together
  • Top with coconut whip and garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice
